Working across state lines
When the house is not in the same desert as the studio, the drawings have to carry more of the conversation. We travel for site visits, keep one set of specifications, and use trades we already trust — or we train the local bench to the same standard.
Out-of-state work is ordinary for Madewell. The client should not feel the distance in the rooms.
